BSO Vinkeveen (de Schakel)

This after school care is located in the elementary school the Schakel. Here we use the playroom, the spacious hall and of course the large playground. The after school care has room for 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. A small group therefore, with much attention for each child.
At this location we work with a 51-week package, which means that the location is closed in week 52.

In line with the school’s approach, our pedagogical professionals at this location also use the ‘Kanjertraining’ method. This method focuses on fostering mutual trust within the group, creating a calm atmosphere in the classroom, promoting social safety and ensuring a pleasant after-school care environment. 

Throughout the year we work with themes such as Easter or Valentine’s Day, but we also work with the theme of Fire and Bullying, because this is important and educational. Based on the themes, activities are devised, so that throughout the week there are cooking, crafts or sports activities tailored to the relevant theme.
